Smart Education in Albania is an education consultancy office dedicated for international students in Albanian Universities. As part of Likaj Law Firm, we offer assistance in all legal procedures for students, starting from application in universities, recognizing the High School Diploma and taking the student residence permit in Albania.

Our partner universities and each of their study program is licensed and accredited to be offered in English Language.

General admission criteria are:

  • Students holding a high school degree or equivalent;
  • Notarized copy of the document certifying that the candidate has successfully passed exams equivalent to the exams of the State Matura in the Republic of Albania (Panhellenic exams – Greece; certificate – Italy; certificate on points received at every course exam – Kosovo; State Matura Exams etc).
  • English proficiency level B1 according to CEFR.

In cases when the Student has completed his studies in a high school where teaching is conducted entirely in English, he is exempted from the obligation to submit this document.

Visa and Residence Permit

International Students that have been accepted in one Albanian Univeristy, can apply for visa and residence permit in Albania.

Residence permit in Albania documents:

  • Acceptance letter from University;
  • Accommodation contract;
  • Certificate of knowledge for the language of the study program;
  • Bank statement up to 4000 Euro that proves covering living costs of student in Albania.

Diploma equivalent procedure:

  • Apostil stamp in high school diploma and transcript of all high school years;
  • Translation in Albanian Language and legalization of high school diploma and transcript.
